Vriesea Fosteriana
Vriesea fosteriana is another popular foliage bromeliad. The images show the rubra variety. The tough leaves have a burgendy red colour with light colored horizontal bands and markings. Colours become more pronounced in bright light and on mature leaves. Growing up to a meter in size this variety is best kept in bright shade.
